Just been in to the O2 store in Accrington and spoke to the store manager. for what he has said it is going to be very difficult for existing iphone users to upgrade.

1.They are going to have to come in to the store,
2.Sign up for a new contract,
3.Pay for iphone if not on a free tarrif
4.Activate in store.
5.Go home and have a play

he was not sure what time they will be opening. Poss 7:02 but he has not decided as yet. he also said that they will have "lots".

😕😕
Difficult? How? Why?

By going in to an O2 shop?
By signing another contract for 18 months?

🙄

Well i dont know where they get their imformation from because it clearly says on the o2 website that existing iphone customers can only upgrade online and that the offer wont be availible instore.

Sounds very much like an experience I've had before, called "buying something in a shop". Amazing. 🙄

I just wish they would tell us. And confirm they will have the 16g.
I honestly thought we would know today once the US stuff had been announced.

This special early upgrade offer is only available online at o2.co.uk anytime from 11th July until 11th October 2008.
quoted from website.

Also have had O2 send me replacement things before, they we're quick (next working day). I prefer to order online, just because I can wait at home for the delivery.
