O2 Internet + MMS Settings!

Hi,

I've noticed today that my phone keeps saying E "Edge" no 3G. I've not changed any of the settings please could someone confirm the O2 contract "pay monthly" settings for me.

Yeah thats what i have wonder why its saying edge hmmm.

Any ideas? My iPad is with O2 and that has 3G reception 😕

No idea at least your getting edge I hate O2 signal at my house I'm lucky if I get one bar normally! If I walk a bit up my street I get full signal 😕

Best off just giving O2 a ring if your having problems 202 is free to ring from your phone.

I'm sorry i ever moved to o2 they have a terrible service! I can't wait untill the contract is up with them and i can use my Orange sim again yes i said Orange!

I'll pop into o2 at weekend see if they have any ideas. Any one else though in the mean time?

Is your SIM 3G compatible? Most likely is but try putting in those internet settings. Signal issues are probably related to the frequency used by O2. They might be using 1800Mhz for EDGE which sort of sucks for penetration which is why if you get closer it gets better along with a clear LOS to a certain extent. What kind of iPhone and iPad?

Hi,

Yes its a 3G simcard the 3G was working fine untill this morning although i must say it is the worst 3G service i have come across so far!

Its an iPhone 4, the iPad is a 1st gen 32GB 3G with no problems. Seems strange how it just stopped working though 🙁
