If you call retentions, they will give you the £20 deal (600 minutes, 1200 texts) on a one month rolling contract.

Ok. I never feel restricted by 500mb, and it's only £20pm.
Personally I'll take 500mb on a network with a signal that I can use, over no signal and unlimited data.

I agree with this, you can eat 500mb up easily i listen to radio, check emails , facebook, youtube etc which usually adds up to 200+mb a day.

With the Iphone you really need an unlimited plan

These O2 plans are great - now you can buy the iPhone outright, get a 1 month plan on contract without having to go PAYG. The price is just right in my view - a no brainer.

It all depends, some people don't need as much as others.

I've used less than 3 GB since July 2008 so I wouldn't have a problem with a 500 MB cap, especially if I could save a bit of money. 🙂

Christ you get good packages in the UK. Here in Ireland were completely screwed by O2 & Vodafone.
