I popped into my local O2 shop ready to buy the iPhone and upgrade my tariff.

I don't actually want the iPhone, I'm happy with my Orbit Xda, but I want the iPhone tariff and the only way I can get it is by purchasing the iPhone.

This tariff will save me about £40 a month, so you can see why I want it!

Anyways, the sales staff in the O2 shop told me that the sim card will ONLY work in the iPhone and I cannot put it in my XDa or any other mobile phone, this can't be true, surely!

the SIM card needs to be activated with the iphone, and can only be done with an iphone

once it is activated, you should be able to use that SIM in any phone...
