o2 Missing SMS's not received (dropping txt messages) O2 UK

Does anyone else expereince this problem?

Someone will send you an SMS but you won't get it...it will just drop. Other SMS's will be fine but it's worrying as you don't know which ones will go through or not. This happens 1 in every 100 or so??

Happened to me yesterday. My dad (on o2) sent a text to me (on 3) and my brother (on o2). Bro received it, I didn't get anything. Tried twice with the same results. Very odd.

Had that problem with O2 ALL the time. And receiving messages late.
Left them and went to vodafone and haven't had one missed or late text!

Used to be on O2 years ago, on PAYG not with the iPhone but they were terrible with that.

Had a couple of messages arrive late (taken about 2h instead of the normal few seconds). Nothing of vital importance though. 🙂
