    Hi,

I lost my o2 sim card in another old mobile phone when on holiday and called o2 to block the sim card for me, They blocked it for me and also blocked my iphone 3G.
When i got home i had a new replacement o2 Sim Card waiting for me which is working now in another phone but when i tried to put it in my iphone 3G it just shows " no service" in the operator logo.
I have called o2 and they say it is because the iphone got blocked where i reported it lost and that it could take up to 72 hours for them to unblock it.
I asked them to do this for me but it has been a couple of days now and it is still not working.
Do you think i am getting this message because it is blocked still or is my iphone rejecting the sim card because it thinks it is not the proper one that it should be ?

    Thanks

If they said wait 72 hrs... Then wait.

If it still shows after, call them.
