Hi all!

Bit late to the party but thought I create a thread for all the users that have pre ordered / ordered through O2

Not sure about others but been really messed around by O2 this year.

Pre ordered a 16 PM 512GB on 13/09 probably around 1430 due to all the glitches

Got a confirmation email and text - email said order will be delivered 20/09

MyO2 order status still shows the order processing and delivery date date for 20/09

Support have been useless in providing a meaningful update

So thought this might be a good place to see people who are in similar position and see when your order statues begin to change!
 
Still haven’t got anywhere with finding out when the device will be delivered as it’s still stuck on processing stage

However have been credited £20 off my next bill
 
Ordered mine on the 15th - stated I would receive it on the 20th - since then I have received 26 test and emails stating “We need to let you know the delivery of your order is taking longer than expected. Sorry. It should be with you between Up to 3 weeks.” Today it has now changed to 2 weeks. Same as you mines still stuck on processing.

How did you manage to get them to take £20 off your next bill?

I haven't had a text or emails since my initial order.

That was through customer service chat via the MyO2 app

I explained that I have no issue waiting for the device but what's frustrating is that my order page still hasn't been updated shows delivery for 20/09 and she said as a good will gesture we will add a £10 credit off your next bill.

Again, went on the chat to see if there was an update, there wasnt, but was offered £10 again, I assumed this wouldn't work as I had already been given £10 yesterday but I did!
 
I have now called the o2 customer services and was basically told to wait and that I would also have to wait until I received the iPhone until I can request compensation for the inconvenience - I then went on the o2 app chat which has resulted in £20 credit to my account, they have also raised and issue with the technical team but I won’t have a response until 5-10 working days.
 
Oh yeah forgot to say as well - I asked if people who pre-ordered on the 13th have received their 16 pro max’s or have o2 not received any and was assured people have received theirs however there is a backlog of orders
 
Glad you got the credit sorted!

To be honest like I said I’m happy to wait, my issue is the lack of communication as in stuck on processing with delivery date showing as 20/09

I know a few people have been talking about orders being stuck because of a new system O2 have implemented.

As long as my order is an a queue and not just stuck in limbo somewhere I’m good.

Will give it a few days to see if anything changes on the order page…. Guess that’s the only thing we can do for now
 
Im also stuck on processing , since the 13th, delivery date still showing as 20th. rang them and all they said was they would raise a ticket for me to see what's going on with my order..
 
I had the same response, if I’m perfectly honest I’m taking everything coming from customer support with a pinch of salt.

Hoping this week we get some sort of update, even if it means waiting a few weeks just concerning that the delivery date still says 20/09

Had a nightmare with them last year trying to get the 15 Pro Max for in store ended up having to go back 4 times because my account was a legacy account or something and not a 360 so took a while to get it sorted.

Thought I’d just order for Home delivery this time because I couldn’t be bothered with the store wish I didn’t now.
 
To be honest I’ve been upgrading every year since the first iPhone and the last time I was in a similar situation was with the iPhone 6S but this year was the worst in terms of the crashing of the website etc

Pretty sure I got the 6S within a week of it going on sale but again there was a lack of communication.

I’m guessing the first postive sign we will see is our tariff changing so fingers crossed for some movement this week.

Glad to know I wasn’t the only one stuck on ‘processing’ with the delivery date of the 20th!
 
I pre ordered on 13th and its still stuck on 3 weeks. My friend pre ordered on 15th and hers is showing as 1 week both through o2. Some sort of update would be good. I am going on holiday at start of October and was really hoping to have it by then :(

I had a nightmare with my 15 pro max too in store - I waited until November for it to come in stock in store - rang up and “reserved it” went in to do the switch up, was told I could also upgrade my Apple Watch Ultra to the Ultra 2 - picked the colour, had the iPhone and the watch sat infront of me on the desk - was then told I wasn’t able to upgrade the watch and there was an “error” on the system.

Then started the switch up process - was asked for the IMEI - provided that and there was another error on the system and they would have to raise a case which would take 48 hrs max - so I went home.

48 hours went by I called up to see if there had been any update and was told only the person who raised the case could see the response and they were now on annual leave for two days - great!

4 days has now passed and I call up again and ask for an update - different person answers - logs in and says no update to which I query what I was told 2 days before about only the person who raised the case can see the response- they advise me anyone can log in and see the response!

Told to wait a further week and we will definitely have an answer then.

A week goes by and I go into the store instead of calling up as this is getting beyond a joke now - all the while the iPhone 15 pro max that has been reserved states it will only be reserved for a week (it’s now been over a week) but I have been told it will stay reserved.

So I go in and sit down to try the switch up process again- we try again and the “error” comes up again at the IMEI part - I ask to see the screen to see what the error says. It reads “incorrect IMEI”

Turns out it wasn’t an error at all and a week had been wasted. I had a replacement iPhone from my insurance company as my original iPhone had been water damaged and they had replaced it hence the incorrect IMEI message.

I was then told I would need proof of this from the insurance company in order to continue with the switch up. I called my insurance company from inside the o2 store but the signal was awful. So I informed the guy who was dealing with me that I was going to make a call to the insurance company. I stepped outside and spoke to my insurance company who said they would send over the docs within 30min. Whilst waiting I went to go and grab some food.

About 15 minutes later I received a text saying my reserve had CANCELLED.

I went back into the o2 shop straight away as this must of been a mistake or an error to be told that my iPhone 15 pro max had been sold to another customer! I was absolutely livid!

Anyway cut a long story short I got the docs from the insurance company and then did the switch up.

Fast forward 2 weeks and I’m in Italy skiing and my interment won’t work even though I’ve got the travel allowance bolt on - tried everything to get it to work and couldn’t.

I land back in the UK and still no data - call o2 and was told I had an outstanding balance on my account and they had cut off the service until it was paid. The guy in the o2 store didn’t mention anything about having to pay anything for the switch up or the account balance but yet it was held against me as a missed payment!
 
Just had four texts from O2 after nothing since ordering and my phone is coming tomorrow!

I’ve been onto o2 again today who have now said that until the order being stuck “processing” is fixed I won’t receive the phone (even though other customers who’s orders have stuck in progress have received their (Reddit) which will be a further 10 days until that’s resolved and then will still have to wait until it’s shipped
 
No update so far, still stuck on ‘processing’ delivery date is still showing as 20/09

So hoping there is some movement this week, others in similar situations so some movement yesterday evening

So fingers crossed 🤞

Did the processing thing change on your orders page do you know? Just want to work out if o2 are chatting wham as per usual saying it won’t get sent until the processing things sorted

Yeah it changed to completed after I got the dispatched text messages.
 
So, I’m in the same boat. I ordered on the 21st with a delivery date of the 24th. It’s now 2 days past the delivery date, and O2 has no idea what’s going on. Apparently, it’s due to high demand, and now they’re saying there’s a 4-week delay, even though the iPhone 16 Pro (not the Max) is showing as in stock with next-day delivery. It’s an absolute shambles.

Have you checked the click and collect? I’ve just checked for the pro in stores by me - 128gb is saying a week delay but the 256gb is saying collect tomorrow. You could cancel and click and collect
