PS3 version that is.

Never used to have problems with it before, and I've put quite a few hours into it already. Maybe it doesn't like the current firmware version?

It's telling you to buy the PC version for the phantasmagoric add ons.

but really, my buddy said his went FUBAR on him not a few days ago. Maybe try deleting the install off the HDD and reinstalling?

It would have to crash during a save and if that happened, it would only corrupt that instance -- unless you're really unlucky.

Here. I can post more 'heres' if you want.

No, I meant if the reinstalling of the game data would mess with the saves...

And thanks for the "here", but I do my gaming on the couch, exclusively. :)

Plug it into the TV. It looks just as purdy ;)

Back up your saved game files onto a USB stick or something. You should do that anyway, every little while because if the HDD screws up, you lose it all (happened to me 25 hours into Yakuza :( )

Oh.

There's nothing stopping you from plugging a PC into a TV. As sikkinixx said, it will look just as purdy, but with a mid range PC, even purdier with a higher frame rate. Then you can continue to be casual and laid back while pursuing your hardcore gaming ventures. :)

Look guys, I do work & internet on my Mac Pro, which is located at my desk. I play games on my PS3 which is near my TV. I'm perfectly happy with that situation, and I will not change it just because stupid Oblivion has decided to go glitchy on me. ;)

I wish I still had my skateboard... :(

Maybe I can tape the Mac Pro to my cat and then just use treats to have him follow me around.

I bought a skateboard in 2005. I've rarely used it. It was fun to piece one together again. I even bought some good protective gear. I can hardly stand on it, where as I had skated from elementary school up until I was almost twenty.

Now days I'm a poser. Oo

If your MacPro ways as much as my dead G5, I'm sure you'd kill it.
