A few weeks ago I noticed an issue where my location in Maps (or any app that uses my location) all of a sudden becomes inaccurate. When I'm on the highway, it will show my location somewhere 100+ feet away and this causes Maps to constantly recalculate the route. Same with any navigation app. Restarting the phone or toggling off/on Airplane Mode seems to resolve the issue temporarily. Today it started happening again. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have noticed this on the iPhone X and iPhone 13. It will often also have trouble locating me initially when I open the maps app, even if the GPS isn't being blocked by tall buildings. Ironically my 6s is dead on perfect 99.9% of the time.

GPS devices never are 100% reliable.
Certain satellite positionings can cause errors
Of course, but if turning off the phone and then turning it back on immediately resolves this issue, it makes me think there is something else is going on.
