Got my Series 9 over the weekend but I've noticed this weird thing happening when I raise my watch to view the screen and I see a very brief purple flash. It seems to be the compilations that flash, not the whole screen and it is pretty rare - maybe seen it 5 or 6 times in total. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Never seen this in the whole time I had my Series 7.

Glad I'm not the only one. Any idea what the trigger is? I wasn't sure if it was when the screen brightness was rapidly changing and I'm not even sure if all the complications flash. Definitely noticed it with the reminder but it happens that quick it is hard to determine.
No idea. My initial thought was maybe if the complication had changed since it went into AOD mode, but I haven't been able to verify that.
It would be a waste of time to exchange. It is a software bug is all. The Series 7 & 8 both had green flashes at times that had to be fixed.
I saw it again this morning when I first put the watch on and only the reminders complication flashed. I'm wondering if this is perhaps some debugging code left over to highlight when a complication is being refreshed? So far, I have only seen it affect complications and only one at a time - so far weather and reminders so I'm very confident this is a software issue.
