Me neither. I am thinking of taking it back to Apple as it was a replacement phone to my original SE but I'm not sure its a big enough reason at present. It's happening once every two weeks or so... any other experiences out there?I am assuming my XS Max is doing this randomly overnight. Only thing I can think of. I will wake up and sometimes I have to enter my passcode in to unlock the phone. This happens maybe once every 2 weeks randomly, I can't explain it. I'm on 12.1.1, my battery shows normal levels.
My old 6+, when that battery was failing it would do random reboots, show various % of battery life ranging from 99%, then dropping to 19, 18% within ten min - then shut off. THAT was a battery problem, I took care of that. But this - on the Max, I dont know what this is?
No its not random reboot its the face id thing sometimes when you move or touch the screen accidentally faceid will scan and after so many times it will ask your passcode.when its reboot you cant access the camera because its greyedout but if its jut faceid thing you can access the camera try it yourself.I am assuming my XS Max is doing this randomly overnight. The same thing happened to my 8 Plus running 12.1.2. It turns off out of the blue

Ok, I've updated it to 12.1.2 and will watch it one last time before going to Apple
