Hi, I bought a used 3GS, it does work fine however it occasionally gets the infamous white screen.. but really doesn't concern me too much, as it only happens maybe once every day or two. .. all I do is do a quick press of the power button and my lock screen comes back. However, on occasion, the white screen is there when I have an incoming call, and I can't answer the call.. if I hit the power button it just sends it to voicemail. So now, I just end up staring blankly at the white screen wondering how I could possibly pick up that call. .. any suggestions? (It's only happened about 3 or 4x since I have owned the phone a few months. so I haven't had a chance to really try a bunch of things)

That's precisely what's happening to me!

Sometimes, screen goes white and a simple tap on power off and then on again solves the problem, except on incoming calls!

I have noticed that if I make some pressure on the top of the iPhone (like pushing the top of screen more deep in), the screen goes white...

Have you already found a definite solution for this? Or did you sort out what was originating this issue?
