Sometimes on my iPhone 14 pro max I can be in a location with full service and data comes to a crawl almost unusable with apps such as safari, Facebook etc. The only fix is to switch to airplane mode and back. I have reset network settings. This happened on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I went to att. They said they have seen this with esims and switched me to a physical sim and it never happened again. Unfortunately that’s not an option here. Anyone seen this. I really miss my 13 pro.

I’ve definitely had moments where any network hits come to a crawl. I didn’t trying toggling airplane mode. I thought 16.0.2 fixed it. It’s definitely better but hoping 16.1 clears this up.

for clarity, you were on ____ network and you went to AT&T .. so the issue is with AT&T or the unknown network you failed to mention?

AT&T for 10 years. I’ve noticed what you are saying on the 14PM. I’m experiencing this as well. On 13PM no issues what so ever and I used esim since launch day.

I’ve had that issue on prior iPhones. But not this 14 Pro so far. No clue what causes it or why rediscovering the network fixes the jam.

Update: still having this. My coworker has the same issue on her 14 pro. We usually have 5 bars and fast service when this happens. The fix is always toggling airplane mode on and off always fixes it.
