Couldn't wait for an iPad pro 2018 11 inch from refurb store apple and ad a great deal on pencil and case all 3 caring about 960 USD.
The iPad was 256 GB model. When it arrived I was dismayed to see that bottom corner and top corner on right seemed a bit darker them the rest. Figured might be a flaw so I ordered a 2md one figuring this one would go back.
Well 2nd one basically had same thing and noticed in apple store all the floor models had it to some degree.
Anyway I have 2 iPad pros at home. They are slightly different and deciding which to keep as seems I either got used to the dark corner or it has lessened over a few days.
1st iPad is slightly cooler screen tint, build date was Sept 2019. Battery is registering at 103% on Imazing. So a bit over capacity.
2nd iPad build is August 2019. Screen is tiny bit warmer but at top brightness you can't really tell the difference and in photos or videos you really have to look closely side by side to see a difference. It is registering at 105% battery. It also seems to be bit brighter at max brightness over the other iPad.
At max brightness in dark room on black screen this iPad has tiny bit of light bleed which is not visible at under 70% brightness. Not sure if this is due to the panel maybe being a bit brighter too. Either way functionally am only even at that brightness in the day time and it is not visible. Even watching video in dark room at max brightness it is not visible . Oddly sever off axis viewing it is brighter than the 1st iPad and color shifts more red shade of white whereas 1st iPad shifts darker and a bit yellowish.
The 2nd iPad is 6 days newer so would have a bit longer warranty too.
TLR. Do I go for the first iPad with the more white screen with newer build date ?
Or go with the 2nd iPad that will have extra week of warranty is a tad brighter and 2 % more battery capacity but has some off axis color shift at extreme angles and some tiny light bleed that is not noticeable except in extreme darkness on solitary black screen at max brightness?
Can attach pictures if people can help. I have 4 more days to return iPad 1.
