Oceanhorn 3 as hint for new Apple TV

Oceanhorn 3, a big Arcade title, launches on March 5th (one day after the Apple „Experience“ event). Notably also for Apple TV, which is (unfortunately) not that common.

Could this be a hint that the launch of the Next Gen Apple TV is imminent?

Launching on a device no one owns is certainly something. Spending resources on such a thing would be an insane decision. Clearly, the game will work on older Apple TVs. It is doubtful the launch has to do with anything Apple is releasing.

I don't think anyone implied that it would be exclusive to the new AppleTV, but it definitely could be something to demo the new capabilities of the new if indeed the plan is to release it. We'll know soon enough.

Apple doesn't care about gaming on the Apple TV. The new Apple TV 4K will likely be released with a press release. There isn't going to be some big presentation and demo.

Me too, I have an AppleHD that I have been willing to replace, but refuse to do it until there’s a new model.
