Looked it up, I did see this city in an episode of HBO Vice (Didn't know it was Zhengzhou at the time) It was a story about the "Ghost Town of ZhengZhou." Completely broke economy, China real estate meltdown, they built all these new high rise apartments, malls and ran out of money. Still remains completely vacant, no one lives there, just eerie. Like a brand new massive part of town, but completely empty.

I've heard of it since because Foxconn is based there, currently building a new massive plant.

Atlanta native here, living in DC. My 0530 EDT 9/12 6+ 64GB SG AT&T order is still processing. No love from Apple, but misery loves company.

Only the phones that have been stuck in ZhengZhou for almost 2 days I presume were in the palette that got screened and left behind.

Im in the same boat as you...we are still hopeful our phones are on the plane that is landing in Anchorage in a few minutes, cross your fingers.

Sympathies to the 7:10 crowd. ;)
 
Hello from outside an Apple Store. There are grown men in an ACCESSORY line... For a case.. So don't feel bad my geek friends. We are not alone! Now back to shopping.
 
I'm watching a plane run its landing routine and watching the altitude decrease waiting for it to finally touch down like im counting down for the ball to drop at New Year's.

...Help me.

LOL the plane is backing up for me. Im losing my mind.

I'm guessing the 12:45 batch is the ups 81 flight due in at Louisville at 6:35am

I'm crossing them to be sure. Having followed this entire thread page by page (count me as insane too), and since my phone has the exact same tracking info including the 12:45 A.M. arrival scan in Shanghai, I'm going to blissfully assume that it's on that plane which is about to land in Anchorage.

What sucks is that I still have a Thursday 9/25 scheduled delivery. After hearing reports of so many who moved up to Monday and Tuesday, I was hoping for better. But at least I know I'll have my 6 Plus by the end of the week!

My coworker, unfortunately, just had his 6 Plus shipment (ordered about 9 A.M. CDT on 9/13) delayed until the end of October. :eek:

I have the same 9/25 delivery date too...hoping that when they scan our phones in Anchorage, that the delivery date moves up.

Yikes to your co-worker...I would just say F it and go wait in line at a store.

Ugh, all those refreshes of the UPS tracking site pulling down my iPhone 5 battery. I think I will call Apple and get my free case! Just kidding. I was originally scheduled for Tuesday delivery on UPS but it is not looking like that will happen but I will always have hope and can spend more time on this one thread! Thanks for calling UPS!
