Somewhat off-topic, but would you guys say AppleCare is worth it? I've never had it before, and I've never accidentally damaged my device either. However, with "bend-gate" (which I think is blown way out of proportion, although it's an issue), I'm wondering if I should just buy it once my phone gets here for piece of mind.

Considering you're paying a LOT for that phone. I think AppleCare+ is way worth it. Any repair you eventually do for that phone within the next two years after your initial warranty runs out is most likely more than the price of the AppleCare+.

Some of them were originally 9/25, got bumped back to 9/26 and then back up to 9/25

I had 9/25 but now stuck at 9/26. I ordered two phones actually and only ONE of them left on time from Incheon last night meaning 1 out of the 2 phones I ordered have a 9/25 delivery date.

Yeah..I was thinking this because we were scanned for departure from Zhengzhou but we stayed there all day until we were scanned again for departure later and actually left.

Good point. Plus...had we been almost to anchorage, I think some people's estimated delivery would have bumped up to tonorrow

Don't give up hope... UPS CAN move fast when they want to  ... Not that my shipment knows, but lots of people woke up really happy this morning because they went from overseas to out for shipping while they were sleeping...

Just LOVEOn another note, I finally got to hold a 6 Plus at the Apple Store. Wow, just wow... so awesome. :D

Went into Best Buy over the weekend and held one. It fits my incredibly large hands perfectly. I could almost reach all of the parts of the screen with my thumb. Definitely glad I went with the 6+ now.

Thanks for the insight! I'll most likely be purchasing it tomorrow after I receive my phone.

DO NOT UPDATE TO 8.01...yet.

"Some initial reports on 8.01 includes the phone no longer connecting to a cellular network and saying there's "no service." There also have been some issues with Touch ID after downloading the update, with some users noting that the feature -- which allows people to unlock their phones using their fingerprints -- is no longer working."

what a mess.

It appears the problem is just with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ devices. Either way, glad I didn't attempt to update.

Before - (today.)
My brother had a departure scan to Minneapolis at 3:29, the flight leaves at 3:52.

Thanks, mine must've lagged behind a little bit since it just showed up on my tracking after the flight took off.

Louisville, KY, United States 09/24/2014 3:30 P.M. Departure Scan

And we're off! See you in NY!

Darnit! Wish this was me too! good luck.
Thanks. My entire delivery was actually spot on (pretty much every one of my Apple pre-orders has gone like clockwork - though this is the first one where it ended up actually shipping a week sooner than the estimate offered).

Hopefully everyone in this Oct 1-6 group actually gets their phone this week!

I left a bit early from work and now I'm literally sitting on the front porch with my puppy waiting for the UPS guy. I didn't want to miss him because I couldn't hear the knock (¯\_(ツ)_/¯ why he doesn't ring the doorbell.) Good thing it's a bit cool in the shade.

Has anyone gotten a message like this? :apple: :D

Anybody know what flight I'm on...headed to Maryland???

You have up to 60 days (from the date of your iPhone purchase) to get coverage via AppleCare.

https://www.apple.com/support/products/iphone.html

To date, I've gone without it for my 4s and 5s, iPad's, and MacBook Air's. Only my 2010 Mac Pro has been my most recent coverage. Once I get my 6 Plus, I'll evaluate and probably get it due to the new/larger form factor. It's inexpensive relative to the cost of the device.

1:34 - 9/25 - Import Scan in KY - Heading to Newark, NJ next......flightwise, it looks like UPS2076 is delayed....not sure if Departure scans should show up when they go on the plane or when the plane takes off...the former seems like the only logical....

Beyond that, there are 3 more flights that all leave between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM tomorrow. Doesn't leave much time for it to make it from Newark to local centers, to get on trucks for delivery by 8 AM.
