:rolleyes:I can bend rebar, if I try hard enough. Don't sit on it. Here, this should make you feel better. Mine feels very sturdy. There's titanium and stainless steel in there too. http://mashable.com/2014/09/27/consumer-reports-bends-iphone-6-plus/ I saw a bent one for sale on eBay on day 1, sounds pretty fishy to me. You give me any of the competitors and I'll bend them for you. Who can afford to take a $600-$900 phone and bend it for show. Not me, I wonder who's paying for these phones people are bending? I'm betting its a company that starts with an S.

6 plus finally a perfect fit.

I wear a size 16 ring and am 6'6". This fits me like it was designed for me. Love it.

I checked my status on UPS for my order this afternoon , said it was in zhengzhou. Just now I go to look at it, and it says that a shipping label has been created and UPS is waiting to take possession of the device?

I had a delivery date of OCT 2, but now have no date at all!

Is this a ups system error?

Same thing with me. The apple site still says delivery on 10/2 but ups site now has no info other than the tracking number registers with them. Weird. I imagine it'll still get here by 10/2.
 
Hey guys I'm back, My other 6+ crapped out for no reason and had a priority replacement order just ship out, should be delivered on 10/01, current status "Shanghai, China 09/27/2014 9:25 P.M. Arrival Scan"

I think it a error the same thing happen to me when i check the status of my replacement phone on a Android phone and i was like WTF and checked on my computer and it still shows in Shanghai.

I saw the same thing. This morning the status has it still sitting in China with a deliver date that changed from 10/1 to 10/2 … I went to UPS.com to chat with a rep, but it is closed. having faith it will be here Thursday

My phone is still in Zhengzhou too, still with a date of 10/2, but hasnt moved since Friday. I'll hope for both of us and a Thursday delivery as well!
 
I am late to the party on this one. I was out of the country all last week and arrived last Friday. While I was gone, the one I ordered (6+, TMo, 64, SpaceGrey) processed and shipped earlier than expected.

Long story short: it ended up arriving on Wednesday; which means I got it 5 days after I should have; but as I was out of the country when it arrived--it was fine.

As everyone has posted here, the phone IS indeed unlocked but Apple's tech support and genius bar app that shows unlocked status just says "unavailable" on mine and 2 other friend's IMEI. So once again, I think they are obscuring the status to discourage scalping.

Here is the weird UPS history:

I got my iPhone plus last Thursday fro UPS, immediately put it in a case. I play it for couple days and find out that there is a white spot to the left of the screen (not on the screen but edge). I will need to bring it to apple store to ask for exchange (if they have replacement in stock) or return...man! :(

BTW, do I need to make appointment for apple store exchange (or can I even do exchange at store for online order?)
 
FWIW my 6 has been sitting in ZhengZhou for 4-5 days. The scheduled delivery has slipped a couple of times. I'm not in a hurry at all but the logistical hiccups are interesting / unusual.

So after the "hold for pickup/returned to sender/hold for pickup" debacle, I just got an email today from Apple informing me that my phone was returned and I could reply with my info if I still wanted it, or they would refund my purchase within 24 hours. I read it ON THE PHONE THEY SAY WAS RETURNED. Amazon did the same thing recently when I set up a return for a camera lens that I then decided to keep. I cancelled the return from my order page on their site, and a day later they refunded the $250 for the lens, without ever having gotten it back. I had to call them and tell them they needed to actually take the money.

Been a weird few weeks.

Well, I've no desire to MAKE it bend, so I can't rule out that possibility, but I got the 6 plus with the black leather apple case and had no issues. Carry it in my front pocket, sit, stand, squat, drive, no issues, and not even a worry that it COULD bend. Obviously you can bend it if you try hard enough, but it's held up just fine to normal use.

Weird, mine was shipped 2 days later then yours and getting mines on Wednesday.

My 6 is still in Transit to UPS since the 26th. Currently, it says it had a location scan in ZhengZhou on 9/26 at 11:10 PM. No movement since.

The estimated delivery date in my Apple Email says Oct 6, UPS tracking was saying Oct 2 until just an hour ago, when it updated to Oct 3.

Anyone else have the same?

That´s weird, Apple sent my phone and various other packages under other UPS method (Expedited Shipping) and its being a pain in the ass.... Having the same trouble as ZigZagLens (same dates, times, etc) ...

Yeah not sure what could be the problem, my delivery date just changed to tomorrow as well.

I had the same exact thing happen. I called and they told me that the phones were being held up in customs.
 
I've had the same very frustrating delayed shipment. There must be a couple of skids, or a container, or however they are shipping these damned things, that got lost in the back of the warehouse or something.

Mine officially went into the system on 9/26 (though I think it was processed a day earlier) and then rotted in ZhengZhou for FOUR DAYS.

My delivery date slipped from Tuesday 9/30 (today :( ) to Wednesday to Thursday and now to Monday 10/6.

UNACCEPTABLE

Just wanna check in with my crew here! Is there anyone that are part of the October 1-6 Batch that hasn't gotten their phones yet?

It was fun while it's lasted. Shout out to everyone!!! Maybe we should do a reunion thread soon? or just keep posting here :D
