Ordered at 3:45am. 128GB plus. Was on Oct 1-6 bunch. Just received shipment notification. Mine left on the slow boat from China. Delivers on 9/29.

My estimated delivery date is 1st - 6th Oct, I've just spoke to a women at Apple CS and she was useless all she was is that it would be there between 1st - 6th? Talk about state the obvious lol. How long was yours 'preparing for dispatch'?
Maybe Apple's prioritizing orders of existing Apple users? You can see the pattern- they gave access to pre-orders to those using iOS apps when no one could get on the site, so it stands to reason. Those still waiting for shipment notification should put their input on this.
I do not think a plane is in the air just yet. The phones are probably being scanned for departure and loaded on. For the curious here is the link to all flights from ZhengZhou International Airport to Anchorage.

Ordered my iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Silver (T-mo) the second the online store went up (it was on auto-reload in my browser). My card was charged and my order status changed to "preparing for shipment" yesterday. I received a shipping notification and a tracking number from Apple earlier today (with estimated delivery of Sep. 24th). My delivery is to the East Coast. I attached a screen of the current tracking status on UPS website.

Roller coaster of emotion. Ordered 2 phones 6+ silver 128 at 2:51 cst and 6+ space grey 128 at 3:09 cst. Both went to preparing to ship yesterday.
This morning I wake up to one, not two shipping notices. Why is it that my wife, who slept all not long on the 12th, is going to get her space grey before I get my silver? Oddly enough my silver now shows up in my support profile, but no sign of the shipped space grey. I tried tracking by reference and I don't get anything even though I already have a tracking number.

The plane I posted went from Zheng Zhou to Hong Kong and then it goes to Anchorage. It departed Zheng Zhou in the early morning hours.
My thoughts: not actually the flight, just getting excited. In reality I think these are being scanned onto the flight and the flight will depart soon.
Ah ok. I missed that. I didn't think it would have went to Hong Kong at all. I was looking for direct flights on flight aware to anchorage
+1. My wife's shipped last night with a 09/24 delivery. Mine still in "preparing" status. Both purchased 6+ 128 space gray.
Ordered 2 - 128gb gold t-mobile 6+'s at 2:19am (pacific) Friday morning. Shows as preparing to ship for about a day now. No serial numbers in my support profile.
Very disappointed that I won't have it until the 29th or so, given other people's ship date on here.

Mine departed ZhengZhou, China on 6:35pm as well.
Looks like our iPhones are all on the same flight.
I hope I get something today. I know it takes a while to scan all of these but i was charged yesterday so I should ship today.
It was pretty much 24 hours from when it went from "preparing to ship' to 'shipped'.
