Apple Store still shows preparing for shipment but got an email from UPS saying delivery from ZhengZhou, China to be delivered Wednesday, 9/24/14 next week. I was hoping this weekend but that is fine since my case won't be here till next week anyway. But is there a chance that it might there earlier?

So hopefully y'all iPhones are shipping early too instead of October 1-6. This has been fun and enjoy your new iPhones!!!

Track by reference with order number minus the last 2 digits worked for me. Shows my delivery address so I know its for me. And shows Monday 9/22 delivery date (says rescheduled from 9/23).

There are 6 reference numbers UPS will associate with your package. Your 10 digit phone number, order number (less last 2 digits), and sales order number are the 3 I've identified.

Me too. I got in the initial wave yesterday to Preparing for Shipment and my card was charged (but it's still a "pending" charge), nothing on UPS, my Support Profile, and no activity since then. Waiting patiently. In Fort Lauderdale, FL and ordered 3:56 ET on 9/12.

I tried the method above via UPS.com and I also see a delivery date of 9/23. But, are we sure that this isn't just the tracking for the initial batch hitting the US? In other words, perhaps '9/23' is when this batch/pallet (whatever you want to call it) will hit US soil, but not necessarily our homes. It may take a few days for each phone's local distribution, etc. Of course, I hope that I am wrong, but I am just being cautious and don't want to get too exited, yet.

So just to be clear it looks like a shipping label has been created and we're all getting different delivery dates but nothing confirmed shipped yet. And so hopefully in the next hours, when it's confirmed shipped all our iPhones will be delivered on the same day this Saturday! lol or the earliest on Monday?!?

Well I got the notification directly from UPS MyChoice - not Apple or the reference trick - that a package is scheduled to be delivered on Monday. Since the app only notifies for packages delivered under my name and address, yes, these are individual results.

When I'm logged into MyUPS account, using this method, it shows it is being delivered to my address. So no, I don't think it is a generic result.
