Octo 2.26 MP CPU upgrade/info?

Hi, new to Mac hardware purchased an Octo 2.26 MP (latest) and noticed that these Xeon processors are Socket 1366. I was wondering if I can go buy any 1366 chip and throw them in here to upgrade? This may be a seemingly trivial question to you experts but I know nothing of Mac hardware!

Also, what's the difference in performance between quad-core: 2.26GHz @ 5.86GT/s and 3.2GHz @ 4.8GT/s? Does that 1.06GT/s make a huge difference?

You can upgrade them and there are guides on here. You can only upgrade to Xeon 5500 processors though which have retail prices of $550 upwards each.
