October 2-9 Delivery thread

Glad to see you guys getting some movement now! I remember after orders started shipping that it was looking like we'd all get our watches on the early end of our delivery windows. Well, so much for that wishful thinking. The aluminum buyers are doing well, but the SS buyers are not. Looks like most will be arriving on the very last day or shortly before.

I was in your group until I got lucky and snagged one from a local Apple Store (using istocknow) about a week ago. Since then the local stores have received almost no SS models at all.

Anyway, I can tell you it's worth the wait. It's an outstanding upgrade.

I’m an Alu buyer and will get it almost by the end of delivery window. I think Apple‘s natural priority is US customers and retailers and only after rest of the world. After all they are able to deliver in promissed delivery window. Here in Germany you cannot find AW4 even in such huge retailers like MediaMarkt and Saturn, they supposed to get it by end of October. Btw same goes for Apple Store Germany, no stocks at all. Anyway... 4 days left and waiting hell is over... :))
 
Mine seems to be stucked in Shaghai for 2 days now... altough, I rember with some of my previous orders that it was stucked in China for 2-3 days, only to magically appear in city of delivery on the very days of it.

I think yours and mine are together... Mine also stuck after Export scan in Shanghai. :)

After 4 days of silence there’s an update saying: A mechanical failure... Really?

Now Apple Store saying again that it will arrive between 2-9. UPS still no updates...
There's still a chance we will get it by Tuesday.

UPS10D on the way to Shanghai right now from Cologne. Will arrive about 20:43 German time. So I guess tonight our watch will leave Shanghai. :)

Everytime my Apple order was f....d up - it was with UPS. Never with DHL.
[doublepost=1538952570][/doublepost]Just checked the pinned US preorder thread - it appears the even the US orders are sitting in Shanghai. Apparently there is a week long national holiday in China and nobody is working there. And that we should see movements tommorrow morning.
UK preorders thread - same thing. Someone on UK thread suggested that they even might come to Europe via US airports.

TL; DR national holiday in China, all orders delayed by day or two

My order finally moves on (i was in same boat as stickpin). The tracker says i Will receive it tomorrow . I think tomorrow is very soon to be delivered to spain

Delivery now says Wednesday. Quite disappointing since I am still on the edge whether to keep the iPhone or not. And for me it depends on the Apple Watch.
 
Ordered a few minutes after the store was up for this delivery window. Got an email on october third that it was shipping with a new delivery date of october 17th... So i went out on the 4th and got me a second one in the apple store, there was no stock in the morning, but they told me on the side there would be in the afternoon. Now i will have 2 AW4, one in 40mm GPS aluminium and the second one will be a 44mm SS space grey with LTE. Gives me 2 weeks to try out if i keep both, one or send the 44mm back.
 
Hahaha, I’ve been tracking that flight in real time since you posted the message that it was airborne. Let’s hope UPS can make it to Munich by tomorrow. One flight tonight and it can be with delivery car in the morning.
