Couldn't hear it over the ego. 😛
ALL of Apples products have gone AWAY from the acrylic finish that is SOLELY left on the MB
My prediciton is that on the Leopard release announcement come new Aluminum MBs with small updates.

Yeah, God knows we don't need a Mac Pro update for another year. 🙄Honestly this was very "tongue in cheek". I really think that is what is coming tho. they always piggy back something on... and just about anything that needs an update has gotten one except the MB.
Well we heard it many times elsewhere first.
Some of us believe the Mac Pro update is only one month away in mid-November.I'll just keep my eyes open here on MacRumors.com and as somebody else suggested, 'mactactic.com'.
MacTactic seem to believe the Macbook and Macbook Pro range will be updated within the next month, but also (which may provide some hope) a Mac Pro update is seen to be only 2 months away.
Fingers crossed 🙂

That MacTactic Mac Pro info is Bogus. The Mac Pro is still the same as it was in August of 2006 not April 2007 6 months ago. All Apple did in April was add a dual Quad Core Clovertown option - not revise anything. So their information is completely WRONG. Mac Pro is more than 400 days old - the longest stretch a top of the line Mac has ever gone without a refresh. Radically overdue thanks to Intel's laggard shipping schedule.
While Apple has remained mum on the subject, multiple sources have since chimed in confirming that Apple will indeed set Leopard loose on the 26th, most likely with a 6:00 p.m. launch event like the one it held for Tiger.
I'm still hoping for G5 Powerbooks next tuesday.
