This is my desktop. Only this pic is panorama. It is the view of the mountains located across the street from me. People say a picture is worth a 1000 words, but a photo can't even capture how beautiful the view is. Thankfully the land is owned by the town's land trust and can never be built upon.

Thanks for that link, awesome shot. If it was pitch black, how long did you have to leave the shutter open to get that lighting?

LOL don't you just love how we all seem embarassed to have a messy desktop. I moved everything into a folder called DMGS on my Desktop, All I have on it now is MacOSX (hard drive), FinalFantasy7 (CDROM), DMGS (Folder containing everything I've downloaded), and EXTHD (contains everything from when I had my External Hard Drive hooked-up). My Home Folder now, I need to clean it up.

The EXIF information from the camera tells me:
28.00 mm Focal Length
F/3.5
ISO 1600
20 Second Exposure Time
I was using an original Canon Digital Rebel, 6.3 megapixels.

Rickvanr and others who want an uncompressed version straight from the camera, 3.2 MB, 3072x2048, you can send me a PM with your email address and I'll attach it to an email to you, it seems that 2 megs is pretty much the maximum file size for free hosting, and I don't have a whole lot of other options. :)

Made one like Daveway's.

i have a couple files for random clutter too. just to let you know though, you don't necessarily have to keep those .dmg or .sit files, they are just installers, once the application is installed you can throw it away.
if you like to keep them, cool, but just in case you didn't... ;)

I keep them cause I never know when I'm going to throw them on the network and redo my computer.
