Awesome desktop, I didn't know they made AS4's, or perhaps that was ABT's doing....

What icons are those? I haven't seen that set before.

Icons in the dock were changed using Candybar...
I'll see if i can find the site for them... but they're a mix of different ones...
Got really tired of the old default ones..

I realize they were changed with CandyBar, just curious if they were a set or various icons. I like having black/dark icons for some reason and I have yet to come across those. Please let me know if you do find them.

My only suggestion is to go through all 90 pages... lol..

I don't have the specific name of the pack cause i took everything out of their folders... I just downloaded what i liked and then basicly viewed them all cause i had so many to choose from.

Found my Hard Drive set on Page 10

The HD set I might use since it has a page #, no way am I going through 90 pages of icons. I like to change things around, but not that much. Thanks.

Hahha... it takes a few seconds on each page.. there's 10 sets on each page.. So at most.. it should take you 5-10 mins to go through them..

Full bodied. First 1/3 or so isnt very impressive but after that the flavors just start exploding. Lots of chocolatey, creamy, nutty flavors. Incredible smoke. I've only got one left, my local shop has a 2 per customer limit

Sounds lovely, I prefer a more spicy or mild cigar myself. Two per customer limit is cruel.

Agreed. I was foolish enough to blow that up and it freaked me out. There is no way I could have that starring back at me, even if it was only through Halloween. Those couple of days would take years off of my life

In fairness, she was a very well behaved spider. She posed for a good 15 minutes while I fumbled with the macro mode on my camera.

Well that helps. So if that was a macro mode, how big was that f***er in reality then? The pictures makes it look like a monster on string

She was the smallest of three, just over an inch long including the legs that protrude past her body. The others kept running off and hiding when I got close enough to focus on them. The bigger ones were fatter, I think they are pregnant or something.

I looked them up on the web (because I'm not terribly comfortable with spiders either) and they are common "orb weaver" garden spiders; perfectly harmless, though large enough to look menacing.

Really, the worst part about having them is that they are prolific web builders. Every day when I walk outside lately I plow through a bunch of their webs. I hate that more than the idea of being bitten. :( But since they hang out upside down on their web, whenever you walk into one you've got a spider somewhere on your body....that's what inspired me to photograph and identify them.

The last part is the freakiest for me, I HATE that feeling of something on me and not knowing what/where it is. Ugh, body shaking just thinking about it. The weird part is that I love what spiders do and they are quite graceful, yet they freak me out so bad that I just can't stand them close up like that, save for through glass ;)

I hate getting into bed, and seeing a spider on your bed, then spending the whole time you take to fall asleep wondering whether you'll eat it in your sleep (it happens!), or if it'll bite you (spider bites are icky).

Doesn't work for me. If I see a spider in/on my bed I will kill it with a shoe, clean it up with layered paper-toweling, and then sleep on the couch (which is also in my room) because I cannot stand that thought. I have tried it before and I fall asleep from exhaustion and wake right back up again from fear....sub-concious at that point I guess. Damn things, go outside where you belong....outside.

Back on track.....desktops. Here is my last for October. I have had dark and scary all month, but seeing as this is the last week (arguably) for October and halloween is right around the corner, I decided to put a festive background up for a week. Without further ado:

last_halloween.jpg

I did not make this background. I found it somewhere a while back and just modified it a little bit to my liking. There was not an artist branding so I cannot give credit....but it's someone else's, incase I get accused of stealing  *duck*

Here are a couple more for all you spider lovers. I did not make them, but I like them. :D
