Download that and change the dock using Candybar.

I'm still fairly new to the Mac community. I was wondering what this was that i circled in this pic. I think it is the transfer rate of the internet connection or something like that. i was wondering what program or settings you change to accomplish it. that's something that has sort of bothered me is not knowing what the connection speeds are?
