I was very excited when I saw this tweak. I paid the 5 bucks and used it for an hour.
Typing is very slow and extremly annoying to use.
You cant just occassionally use it as I thought, as it turns off auto correction.
So typing is actually forced to swipe for each word.
Too slow...
ill revisit if they can keep auto correction on.

Have to agree. When I saw this keyboard I was pretty excited because I absolutely loath the stock iPhone IME. Dropped the cash, bought it, and uninstalled a few days later. I noticed that if I typed too fast on the Octopus keyboard, some letters would get missed. That was not the case using the stock one.

We need to get Swiftkey 3....That is, hands down, the best looking/working keyboard Ive seen in my life! Sucks its not for iOS!

Octopus Keyboard Released

Gotta agree with you. The two things I miss from Android is Swiftkey. You get great features like dual dictionaries, dual language auto correct (I type in English and Spanish), great haptic feedback and it learns from what you type. Another thing I miss is screen size but that's a whole 'nother discussion.

Waste of 5 bucks for sure. Wish there was a buyers remorse....oh well!

I am happy to support developers, but this is still an early beta, ugly, unfinished, awkward and rather unusable, particularly on a smaller screen.

And yeah, I do feel I wasted $5 and got ripped off.

On the other hand, there is NOTHING else in terms of alternative keyboards for iOS, so the guys is milking desperate users, as there is no demo to try, probably on purpose :(

swipeselection is the best tweak in my opinion for keyboards

I was messing around with the Windows phone at a Verizon phone and they have something similar to the Octopus keyboard that I really like. Perhaps it can be implemented in a tweak someday

I have been playing with the latest octopus keyboard and have decided I do not like it. The words that appear on top on the letters are VERY HARD TO READ. I dont have time to stare at the keyboard to try to read the very small text. I even tried changing colors and outline and that didnt make it any clearer.

Refund?

Does anyone know how to get a refund?? I emailed the author but havent yet heard back. I wish there would have been a trial as I would have seen the text is very hard to read (like I mentioned above) and would not have purchased....

Thanks ....

Yea... I am using predictivekeyboard along with native IOS auto-correct and IKEYWI... It works ok with IKEYWI until you go into landscape...
