I have found an odd entry in a particular screen of Apple Maps on my iPhone (16e) and iPad (mini 4). I'm not even sure how to describe it. If I search for direction to, say, home from my current location the attached suggestion shows. The blanked out part is "My Location" and it's correct, but it suggests "De Velos". I've never been to France, I haven't searched for anything bicycle related (apart from tapping on the suggestion out of curiosity). Any ideas where it's come from and how I could make it go away? 🤔

In case anyone else has this problem, it solved itself after a few days. I cleared the search history, that seemed to make no difference. I used maps normally and today I noticed it had gone.

No bike shops. The search suggestion was lodged in there no matter where I was. Work, home, friend’s place, always there. It has remained absent.

I had a similar behavior, Maps was constantly recommending some local park that I'd never been to or even searched for. That went on for a few weeks a year or so ago and haven't seen it since ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice to know I wasn't the only person this happened to, and nice to know it seems to sort itself out with time and patience :)
