I was studying for a test a minute ago when all of the sudden my computer froze, the screen turned blue, the brightness turned all the way up, and then it changed to the desktop with all my applications closed. I didn't get any error messages or anything, and it all happened in a matter of 3 seconds or so. What on earth just happened?

Edit: I had iCal, Firefox, Studycard studio lite, word, and circus ponies notebook open. All legit.

Theres a bunch of things that say <Error>: kCGErrorIllegalArgument: (A bunch of different things): Failed

And I have a lot of messages that say "debugger was called". Is that a bad thing?

Do you have 10.6.2 installed?

What you describe sounds like the WindowServer crashing. Rosetta apps can cause this on 10.6 (possibly fixed in 10.6.2). Was your Word from Office 2004:mac?
