I have a 2011 17 MBP and if I let it sit for a long time every now and then it will freeze up with some weird patter on the screen. I have to power cycle it to fix it.
It does not do this in 10.6.6, only started after 10.6.7
Any one have an idea or seen this?😕

Update: Reading on apple forums that others with Imac and macbook air having issues with 10.6.7 were having random freeze and issues.
I reinstalled with 10.6.6 did all the updates except for 10.6.7 and its been over 24 hours now without an issue.
before if I left it sit for an hour or 2 it would hard lock with the screen black or as you can see in the pics.
