Odd iMac intel keyboard issue

I have been having an odd issue with my iMac intel 20" and its wired apple keyboard. Every now and again the keyboard, and any USB device daisy-chained with it stops responding. The only way around this is to unplug the keyboard and replug it in into an alternate socket. Before anyone says anything about repairing permissions, I have already tried that.

Hmm I'm having the SAME exact issues. But actually I have more issues than that. My keyboard and mouse just stop responding every few minutes and I have to replug them in. ALso my volume and eject keys randomly work and then dont work.

I was going to mention the eject and volume keys, but decided that that was more info than required.

Call Apple on that one. iMac sounds defective to me. That kinda stuff should never happen.
