Hi,
I recently got a 2020 iMac with Ventura 13.7.5 to work with my 5,1 cheese graters running Monterey 12.7.6 (OCLP). They are connected over a LAN (Ethernet Connection) and I can screen share from any Mac, and via synergy, can use the main Mac's mouse and keyboard to control all three Macs without issue etc. However, this is when it gets strange. Both the 5,1's can mount each others drives but neither of them can connect to the iMac drives, either internal or external. The file sharing settings are the same with SMB set correctly. When I try to connect to the iMac from a finder window, it just hangs on 'Connecting...'. If I deliberately enter the wrong registered user name and or password, the splash screen will shake, so I know the login details are correct.
I've tried the following with no success:
Not sure what else to try as it's odd they all see each other and connect at the first instance but can't access/mount the iMac drive/s from either cheese grater. Any pointers or other suggestions most welcome.
Thanks,
Mcd

I've tried the following with no success:
- Toggled file sharing on and off, restarting on all machines.
- Removed all file sharing locations and then reinstated with a restart.
- Deleted com.apple.finder.plist and related cache file.
- Set up Test user accounts to see if there's a rouge permissions error.
Thanks,
