Whenever I save an image from an email message or my scanner, the image file always ends up in a folder named "Processed Images" on my desktop. If I delete this folder, the actions cited always recreate it. I have checked the appropriate preferences, and determined that all specify "Desktop" as the destination for downloads, scans, etc. I've attempted to find all references to such a folder in .list files and edit them so they say ".../Desktop" instead of ".../Desktop/Processes Images". In spite of all this, the problem persists. Does anyone have a clue as to what might be causing this?

OS X 10.4.10, of course.
