Yesterday I received my ZAGG invisible shield for my 2nd gen ipod touch.
Before the installation, i cleaned my ipod from all dust and finger prints. The screen had no scratches on it and the back had a few light scratches.
After installing the invisible shield, i noticed a long straight horizontal scratch 3/4 along the screen. I have no idea how this happened and i'm not sure what it is, or if it's a scratch on the screen or invisible shield.
I'd be glad to hear if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks.

Try taking it off and checking if its on the screen or invisible shield. It doesn't matter if its on the invisible shield but if its on the screen that's different and you can't really do anything about it. The iPod touch screen is glass so its really hard to scratch and if it wasn't there before you put it on the invisible shield then its the invisible shield.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to remove and re-install the invisible shield or does it ruin the adhesive?

It will never be the same one you take it off. I tried and while trying to pull off the screen protector I got fingerprints all over the adhesive. Take it back to where you got it and I'm sure they will give you another. While you are there ask them to put it on for you. That way if they screw it up it's their fault not yours.
