Hi all,

Hopefully a quick one and probably something I've missed. When I open any App Store or iTunes links my browser just opens a new page rather than launching the respective applications.....

Has anyone experienced this before? Suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Dave

I think that is how it's supposed to work. On the web page, there is a button to go to the store.

Mine does too. There is a button on that page titled, "View in iTunes".

My browser doesn't launch iTunes when I click that button though. It just launches a new tab....

I don't think that was a good link you posted. It's missing something at the end.

But have you tried the obvious, like quitting and relaunching your browser?

Try this link: http://www.apple.com/itunes/charts/

See if those links open in the store.

Sorry, been away all weekend.

If I go to say http://www.itunesfestival.com

and click "Explore the festival" it should launch iTunes, however it opens a tab, says "Please wait...." and then goes to my home page. I think this is a link association issue but no idea how to modify/correct internal Safari links....

Thanks

Dave

Mine opens the page that says "please wait" and then iTunes does open. Maybe you could try a Safari reset.

Not sure what's happened. My system has updated and its now working perfectly. Must have been a bug somewhere....

Thanks for your replies though.
