I've been having problems recently with the display on my macbook. It either refreshes at odd times or locks up completly. On the windows partition I have similar problems where it drops to the lowest display settings possible and tells me the graphics driver has stopped responding.
Since then, I've had other strange problems, such as the forward slash key stopping working and the clock and damn near everything else disappearing from the right side of the top bar.
Do you think these problems are related, I'm worried it could be a hardware issue, and can't send it in quite yet as I am programming an Iphone app for my dissertation and need to finish that first.
