Hi guys,

Ive installed xp on my mbp and its working flawlessly (im seriously impressed with it). I just use xp to game and so far bf2 is running better than it ever did on my pc.

However, oddly in xp my graphics card Vram shows up as 512mb, by contrast in osx it shows 256mb (what i was expecting). Now im all for having more vram but surely this is some kind of bug or something, vram doesnt just appear if you change OS.....right? :p

Wondered if you guys had any explaination.

Cheers, Ali

i had the same thing on my old MacBook Pro. I can't explain it. Even happens on my MacBook Air. In XP, it says I have 128MB shared ram while in OSX I have 144MB shared ram.
