Oddity: Mac Pro Octo - missing from Store (4/30)

Maybe its just me..


Just went in to look at the Mac Pro again ... regular Apple Store as well as my local (non-Apple) Employee Purchase Plan (EPP) store.

The single Quad CPU Mac Pro is there ... but not the Dual Quad on either.

Using a PC/Internet Explorer, perhaps? Someone posted this a few days ago and that was the problem.

Yes, unfortunately. IE7 under XP.

Someone posted this a few days ago and that was the problem.

Sounds like I'll have to go check all of the other 'Store' pages, to see if various models of iMacs are similarly missing. Thanks.

You can get Safari for Windoze ya know. It's free too! It has much better image display abilities and it's not a security risk like IE can be.

I'm aware of it, but with our local IT Department, its a non-starter.

Not allowed to have Firefox either...
