I just updated, but I don't quite understand the versioning of AMD.

    There is Radeon Settings Version
    Driver Packaging Version

and some other versions which are not so important I guess. Does anyone know if this corresponds to the latest AMD driver?

I only tried Elite: Dangerous so far since the old AMD driver had issues during a certain gameplay mode where the fps always dropped below a playable level no matter what settings you use. This appears to be fixed with this driver update. I also wonder if now people can finally use the Oculus Rift with the AMD Macs...?!?

This update caused BSOD for me. I ran Apple update, it installed the update, I restarted. I ran Apple update again and it said there was another update for 5k support as well as the display driver update. I clicked install and rebooted once again.
    Queue BSOD

fallout 4 still drops frames in some areas but instead of dropping to 30's it only drops to high 40's. and less frequently too
