"Office 2007" (Windows) files and Office '04 (Mac)

    I've got a couple of .docx and .xlsx (the new Word & Excel file formats in Office '07 on Windows) which won't open in Office '04 on my Mac. I'm sure there was something that you could download from the Microsoft Mac site that allowed you to open the new file formats on the older version of Office, but I can't find it? Can anyone provide me with a link, or tell me that I'm going crazy? :D

    If there isn't anything on the MS website, how can I open and print .docx and .xlsx files on my Mac? I've got a trial of iWork '08 and that's OK for opening but not much good for printing, as my trial has expired (I'm going to get iWork and Leopard in one go over Christmas, when I have time to install everything in between uni terms!).

    Thanks for that - I really should learn to use Google properly :D

    I searched for "Mac office docx to doc converter" and got nothing relating to the MS website :confused:

    Stupid google or more likely, stupid google user!

    With Google less is more. And some words are ignored like "to"...
