I just installed Office '08 for Mac on my new MBP, along with all the updates available. Now, when I try to launch 'Word', this is what happens: - Icon bounces on the dock until it's loaded - Microsoft Office 2008 configuration assistent starts - Word icon disappears - The configuration assistent asks me if I want to participate in some program, I click no. - I click finish. - The updater starts ... no updates to install, click Finish. - I launch Word ... - and then this process repeats itself all over ... It's driving me crazy. Does anyone know what the hell is going on?
