Im trying to open word, powerpoint, and excel but none of them will open. As soon as I do, they pop up in the dock, then they disappear and are replaced with the Microsoft Office Setup Assistant. It asks me to participate in the Customer Experience Improvement Program, I can select yes or no, then continue, but when I click finish it opens the update and nothing happens. I thought maybe there was an update, but there wasn't... So its not opening, what do i do?

Delete the following files:

~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/Microsoft Office 2008 Settings.plist

/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Office/OfficePID.plist

Then launch an Office app and enter your serial :)

Office 2008 apps not opening

I have been able to enter my product key in the setup then when I open Word it starts to open ... then stops ... leaving with the word credits stuck in the middle of the DT
