Office 2008 Upgrade question

I have Office 2004 on CD at my parents house in Michigan; however, just purchased a new MacBook. I also ordered the Office 2008 upgrade.

Will I need to have them mail me the old CD to do the upgrade? Or can I just install it once I receive 2008?

I ran the upgrade at work when I didn't have the original installed, I actually did but it's a long story. The upgrade installer didn't think I did and it went fine.
