Office 2008

    Just installed office 08 and the only program that would run is word, when trying to open powerpoint i get this " powerpoint got an unexpected error from the system. ()."
    and for excel i get this " not enough memory"

    Try reinstalling? (Use the office uninstaller first).

    still doesn't work, getting the same messages.

    Are you talking about installing Office under OSX or the Windows partition?

    Office 2008 has to be Mac

    But yes, go here and download the two updates.

    Just checking but you aren't doing anything to the office files post-installation are you (like removing language packs or moving it)?

    Another potential problem is running an application like Monolingual or Xslimmer. Both of those will break the Office 2008 installation, so you'd have to do a complete uninstall and reinstall (and when you reinstall, make sure you do a custom install so that you only get the stuff you need!).
