office 2011 install

How just bought a office 2011 cd and I'm just wondering whether I should install it from the cd or download the trial and input the cd key? Which way is better? Do we get updated version when we download the trial from their official website?

No matter how it's installed, updates come through Microsoft AutoUpdate, which runs at least weekly. On the Air, you can either use a plug-in drive or a shared drive from another PC or Mac.
