Office 2016 + Sierra + 2016 MBP 15 = crash

    I'm running 10.12.3 on a 2016 MBP 15 (w/ 16GB), Radeon Pro 455. I upgraded from a 11-in MBA and Office 2016 no longer works. Or more precisely, Word works but PowerPoint and Excel crash upon start-up.

    Are there any known fixes for this? (Word is running 64-bit.)

    Have you checked to see if there are any Office Updates that you need to apply?

    MS just released an update to Office, I'd be sure that you have the latest version.

    Plus if you just copied it over by way of Migration assistant, try uninstalling and reinstalling

    Everything has been updated (as of 5 minutes ago) and still PowerPoint and Excel crash upon launch.

    No problems on the 13" 2016 MBP I was just testing. Surely you aren't the only 15" 2016 MBP owner using Excel, so might be something unique to your install.

    Outlook was updated a few days ago and it now works.

    I figured out the problem. My auto-update does not work. Ie. it says that all MS apps are up-to-date. When I download PowerPoint it works.
