Hi there,

I used the one month trial offer for Office 365 from Mac app store. I signed in with my microsoft account and everything was ok.

I canceled the subscription successfully and I was not charged anything.

But even now after the cancellation I am able to use the office apps! I contacted both Apple and Microsoft and both told me to contact the other part

Now, that I want to purchase the office 365 from the microsoft.com (because of the month by month option) I can't because I get the message that I have already a subscription....

It may take a while for the subscription cancellation to take effect. The only way that MS is going to know that your subscription was cancelled is for Apple to notify them.

The apps continue to function after the trial, they just have slightly limited functionality. (You probably can't save changes any more.)

If you're not paying for the apps and they continue to work, I would just roll with it.

On the other hand, if you only need to use it for a short time (I assume that's why you would pay more for a month-to-month subscription), you could just use the web versions of office, which anyone can use for free with no time restrictions, etc. All you need is to set up an outlook.com email account. Or you could use the free Apple iWork apps.
