In a van down by the river
I just installed an Excel update and then proceeded to open up my exercise spreadsheet. When I did that, I got "Cannot use object linking and embedding." The alert message also pops up when using any of the options to edit the spreadsheet. I had it set where the file was automatically saved to my OneDrive account online. Saving it locally to my documents folder did not prevent the alert message.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

After I made my opening post, I ended up deleting Excel and installing it again. The problem disappeared until today.

Does anyone know how to solve this nagging pop up message?
