So apparently the only way to disable autocorrect in Word for iOS is to turn it off at the system level, which is fine because I hate autocorrect. But after turning it off for both the software and hardware keyboards (I’m using an iPad Pro) in Settings, Word continues to use autocorrect. I’ve been googling around and looking in Microsoft’s support forums to see if others have had the issue, but I can’t find much about it. Anyone else?

Edit: So I figured out you have to disable “Autoformat as you type” under Settings > Word. However, this disables ALL autoformatting, including bulleted lists, hyperlinks, etc., and somehow removes the ability to select text by pressing shift and the arrow keys on the hardware keyboard??

I might actually have to try using Pages..
