Office mac 2001 for MBP 15?

I have a disc that says, office:mac 2001... Upgrade. Can I install it on my MaBook Pro 15 which I bought in December 2010?
 
I believe that office 2001 was the last version for Classic OS(OS before OSX). So no chance it will run.
 
Why would you even want to do that? Textedit is probably more advanced than a 2001 copy of office.
